Brondell Bidets
General Installation Instructions for the
Brondell Swash Bidets with Heated Toilet Seat

NOTE:
Please read the instructions packaged with
your Swash heated bidet before you
begin the installation process. Ensure
that the size and shape of the toilet is
suitable for installing your new,
heated toilet seat and bidet.

WARNING: Use the correct voltage according to
the Specifications Table and connect to a
grounded (3-prong outlet).
|
CAUTION:
DO NOT CONNECT THE POWER UNTIL
INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE. ONLY AUTHORIZED
SERVICE PERSONNEL SHOULD GROUND THE CONNECTION.

NOTE:
Do not disassemble or modify the
Swash bidet. Only an authorized service
representative should perform repairs.

Swash Bidet
Parts and Configuration
Tools needed
to install the Swash bidet with heated toilet seat.

Universal Wrench (included)
-
Flat-head Screwdriver
-
Phillips Screwdriver
-
Measuring Tape
NOTE:
The universal wrench included with the bidet
will work for most applications. Depending on
your toilet configuration, an adjustable wrench may
also be needed.

STEP 1: Remove Existing Toilet
Seat
1a:
Lift hinge covers and use a
screwdriver to remove the
mounting bolts.
1b:
Remove the toilet seat.
NOTE:
Steps may vary by type of toilet seat.

STEP 2: Turn Water Off and
Flush Toilet
2a:
Turn water valve off completely.
2b:
Flush the toilet to empty the tank.
2c:
Disconnect the water supply line
from the toilet tank.
NOTE:
Complete these steps before
proceeding! Failure to do so could
result in flooding, leaking,
or damage to the Swash bidet.

STEP 3: Install Mounting Plate
3a:
Place mounting plate over
mounting holes, flat side
down
with curve
towards the back of the toilet.
3b:
Insert bolts through the mounting
plate and hand-tighten the
nuts. If
mounting bolts are too long for
the toilet, place bolts one
at a
time in a towel and break bolts
at section without the
threads.
3c:
Adjust mounting plate so length
(L) between the front of
the
toilet
bowl and the back of the
mounting plate is as follows:
Round
(S400-RW):
L=18¼
(465 mm)
Elongated
(S400-EW): L=19½ (495 mm)
3d:
Tighten mounting bolts with
screwdriver until the mounting plate
is
securely fastened to the toilet.

STEP 4: Connect T-valve and
Hoses
4a:
Install the T-valve between the
water supply line and the
toilet tank.
4b:
Place the Swash bidet on or
beside the toilet and connect
the
bidet
hose to the Swash bidet.
NOTE:
Use wrench to gently tighten
all connections before continuing.
Failure to do so could
result in flooding, leaking, or damage
to the Swash
bidet.

STEP 5: Attach the Swash Heated
Bidet
Slide the bidet onto the
mounting plate. (You will hear a
"click", indicating that the seat has been
properly attached.)
To release the Swash
bidet, push the button located on the
right-hand corner of the seat and gently
pull.

STEP 6: Turn on Water and
Connect Power
6a:
Turn the water valve back on
slowly. Ensure that the
connections
are not leaking before continuing.
6b:
Make sure your hands are dry.
Insert the power plug into a
grounded
GFCI outlet. The blue power LED
will illuminate.
