Being Clean and Being Green

Washlet Toilets Help You Achieve Both

Setting your sights on being clean can translate to being green when using a washlet toilet seat. The washlet uses water to cleanse and refresh and often significantly reduces the consumption of toilet paper. The average family of four uses 183 rolls of toilet paper each year. This number translates into 1.3 trees. The simple use of a washlet toilet would eliminate much of that use and cut down on the trees being cut down. Being clean in this case also means being green.

Heated toilet seat with washlet. The use of water is common in standards of cleanliness so it is no coincidence that the cleanest and purest way to clean yourself after the bathroom is by utilizing the warm water dispensed from the washlet toilet nozzle. Washlets purify and clean in ways that you cannot achieve with standard toilet paper use. A warm, soothing stream of water releases to provide the best results in personal cleaning. The washlet water wand retracts after each use so it is out of the way for the next use. Washlets use less water for operation as well so you save on that precious resource as well. On average a washlet uses only a half gallon of water each day. Compare that to four gallons used if your family goes through one roll of toilet paper per day. Using a washlet is a clean and green, environmentally friendly decision.
